Finding Joy In Hard Times

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

This set of scripture has been popping up a lot lately... for me at least. I can see now that this pressure is pushing me into my destiny.. my calling.

1 Peter 4:12-19 in my own words:

Don't think it's strange that you're going through this hard trial. Instead, let's find JOY in it. We are partakers in Christ's suffering that He did for US. When His glory shall be revealed and things fall into place, you may be GLAD WITH EXCEEDING JOY!

If you are abused, mistreated, or reproached for the name of Jesus Christ, BE HAPPY and find JOY in this; for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon YOU: THEY may speak evil of Jesus, but YOU GLORIFY JESUS! We are ALL going to suffer in life. But let no one suffer as a murderer, or as a theif, or as an evil doer, or as a busybody in other man's matters. Yet if ANYONE suffers because they are a TRUE CHRISTIAN, let them not be ashamed; but let them GLORIFY GOD on this behalf.

The time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God. We are first in line! If it begins with us FIRST, what will be the end of those who don't obey the gospel of God? If the righteous ones are BARELY SAVED, where do the ungodly people come in?

So if you find life difficult because you're doing what God said and you're loving Him, TAKE IT IN STRIDE. TRUST HIM! He knows what He's doing, and He'll keep doing it!          NO WORRIES!!! Because there are NO LIMIT'S ON GOD'S LOVE!

Jesus, seriously, thank You for everything You Have been teaching us.. showing us. You know we need it all so much. Better yet, we NEED YOU, JESUS. Forgive us for putting You on the backburner... only acknowledging You when we need Your help. You always help us when we really call out to You... But You want more. You want our LOVE. You don't need us but You want us. You're not mad at us.. YOU'RE MAD ABOUT US! Forgive us Jesus. I love You, Jesus! I plead the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth over every reader and their situations in JESUS NAME! Show us your mercy and grace and power. Thank You for dancing with us in the fire. Thank you Jesus. You love us so much. We are suffering with You... until that mighty day comes when You take Your chosen, the ones who chose You, up. But use us NOW, Lord. Take the blindfold off our eyes so we can see Your Love and Grace for us, JESUS. I send Your mighty and strong angels to minister and protect every reader in Jesus name. For Us That Are Hurting

I think we all feel pain right now. We are all groaning in the flesh. These times are hard. We are suffering in pain that no one can see. Fighting for our lives... Spiritually and physically. When will there be a cure? Jesus is the healer... So where is our cute? We keep falling when He has promised us wings. We keep lying when He said He's the Truth. When will we see the effect of His mercy? When will we fly on wings like eagles? When will we RISE?

It's time.

Time to take off the blindfolds.. It's not HIM... It's us. We have been falling for much too long. It's time to RISE.

How to RISE?

•Let go of the past.

Seriously let it go. Strive forward. You want healing but you keep clawing yourself. You want hope but every time you see a glimpse of it... You turn around to see the dark. Let God. Let God. You're free. Let go of the chains. You're free. Let go. Let God. You're free. Free. Free.

•Forgive yourself.

You're beautiful. You're handsome. You were made for so much more. We are messy. Too messy. That's why we need Him. None of us are perfect. Some of us are just good hiders. But trust me, no one can hide forever. We were made to fly... Not cower in the dark so no one can see. Rise, embrace these tattered wings.

•Look up.

Where you put your eyes and your mind, this is where you go. So if you want to fly high above the windy waves of life... Lift your head and take your eyes off the mess. Jesus will hold you... But you have for to LET HIM and LOOK TO HIM for help. Look up.

•Listen to the good things.

Keep your mind under control. After all, what you think about is what you have complete control of more than anything. Focus. Focus. Focus.

•Surround yourself with the Light.

How? How in the world can I do that when it's dark everywhere? Create your own light. Better yet, let JESUS light up your world. FOCUS ON HIM. Talk to Him all day, everyday... About anything and everything. He is listening, and if you focus, listen, and call out.. You will hear Him too. It's not hard. Don't let the devil tell you that. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Submit to Jesus Christ. ❤️

•Lift off

Raise your hands. Give it all to Jesus. Stop relying on your own strength to fly. You simply can't do it alone. None of us can. Not one. WE ALL NEED JESUS!

READ ROMANS 8.. Hope and Light. It's all because of JESUS.. We have HOPE THAT DOESNT DISSAPOINT.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Jesus, thank You. It takes a load off our shoulders...Your burden is LIGHT... We don't have to be perfect... We can't be. Thank You for being God. Thank You for dying for us and being perfect. Taking the guilt for all our shame and sin. I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST OVER ALL OF US IN JESUS NAME! I PRAY THAT YOU WOULD SUPERNATURALLY OPEN OUR EYES. Awaken us that sleep and make us strong to fly and run. WE LOVE YOU JESUS! SHOW US YOUR MERCY AND GRACE AND STRENGTH! BE STRONG FOR US BECAUSE WE ARE WEAK! Pride Comes Before A Fall: We All Need Jesus Because We Are All Messed Up

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18 KJV)

I learned something today. I have been prideful. I don't have it all together. I never will. So it's time that I show myself... The messed-up sixteen-year old that I am. I need Jesus. That's who I am. A messes up girl who needs Jesus.

I have been reading Jefferson Bethke's book Jesus>Religion. His wise words showed me that we are all messy. We've got to stop acting like we've got it all together. That's fake.

Jesus has called us to be REAL. Not perfect. Only He is perfect... Without spot or blemish. That's why we need Him.

Jesus, forgive me. I've messed up and I need YOU. You are who I need. I'm messed up, I need you. Forgive me of my sin and show me how to love like You love me. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over every reader in Jesus name and I send angels to protect us in Jesus name. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Almighty God

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6 KJV)

Jesus is the Almighty God. Period.

Hear Him

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Jesus, help us hear You more. I remember times where I was afraid to hear You, and other times where I was afraid I couldn't hear You. But I do know one thing... that You are not a liar, you do not give us fear, you do not torment us. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over every reader in Jesus name. Lord, I ask that You would bless them according to each and every specific need. You are the author and the finisher of our faith. Jesus, show us how to be like You. You gave all You have to know us.. to show us Your true Love for us.. Jesus show us how to love like that. Give us what we need to win these battles. You have overcome the world. Ask

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Jesus, please show us how to Love. That's what we need. Jesus I ask that you would touch every reader in Jesus name. Heal them and make them free of anything and everything in Jesus name. I plead the blood of JESUS CHRIST over us all in JESUS NAME! Lord, sometimes the devil will slowly put a blindfold over our eyes and we wonder why it's so dark. Jesus Settles The Storms

O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee? Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

There's a battle. A storm. A raging sea. This one seems like it'll never end.

Jesus, thank You. Thank you for settling the raging sea in our lives right now. I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST OVER EVER READER IN JESUS NAME! Break away every distraction in our lives that keeps us from getting closer to You. JESUS, WE NEED YOU! SAVIOR! Your authority is over everything! You are awesome in power, forever. I send angels to touch us all in Jesus name. Help us. We want to be even more in Love with You. in JESUS NAME, AMEN.

The Lies of Idols

(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

When I read this scripture, I don't know... I mean, it hit me. "Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is their shame, who mind earthly things."

The passion I feel behind what Apostle Paul is saying here is... WOW. He weeps as he says this. There are people (at a time this was me too) that walk in the way of the world, idolizing things that promise fulfillment... When it turns our, they lead to destruction. It hurts. I mean, the people don't really think that... They just know they're hurting... Or missing something. There's got to be more to this life... Right?

Let me get personal with you.
There was a time that I felt so empty and hurt. I was seeking fulfillment from boys, "friends", food, attention, and just about anything. I knew that Jesus was God and He was real, I believed in Him, but I was missing that fullness. I knew something was missing.
I dreaded the day as soon as I opened my eyes from sleeping. I didn't want to be here.. I didn't even feel like I was here.
I had a longing for Jesus that I didn't even know was there. It all made sense when I received the Holy Ghost.(Acts 2:4,37-39) I was FILLED WITH THE LOVE I HAD BEEN CRAVING AN TRYING TO FIND ALL ALONG.

Two years later, I realize that even after that filling of Love, idol's promise us fulfillment... But it never happens. Jesus is the only One that can fill us.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
(Matthew 7:7, 8 KJV)

And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither? Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work? Jesus, thank You. I know I still fall short. Forgive me. I NEED YOU. WE NEED YOU. Show us how to LOVE LIKE YOU LOVE! Show us how to be LIKE YOU! Oh to be like You, I give all I have just to KNOW YOU! JESUS THERE'S NO ONE BESIDE YOU! FOREVER THIS HOPE IN MY HEART! I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST OVER ALL OF US IN JESUS NAME! SHOW US YOUR WAYS AND SET US FREE FROM THE BONDAGES OF SIN IN JESUS NAME! AMEN!

Forgiven And Worth It All

You've been bought with the ultimate price. The price that no one can pay for you except for the One who created you. You're worth it all, too. Every last drop of blood. Every.. Last... Drop.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Jesus, show us this in all it's deep mess. We are forgiven. We don't have to be guilty. You took all that upon Yourself. Every last drop of blood that you have was for us. We have a purpose. Thank You Jesus. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over everyone reading in Jesus name. I command stress, doubt, an lust to leave in Jesus name. Scriptures: Freedom From Sin

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Life In Knowing You And Freedom From All Fear

 This summer, I had the privilege of going to the best church camp of my life with my youth group. The experience we had at this camp seriously changed our lives... and I can speak on behalf of them because we all agreed that Jesus used those five days to move us.  

Words cannot describe how heavy the presence of Jesus was in those services. Worship was amazing. I can feel Jesus just talking about it now. There was a song that they sang a lot during worship called "Promise." This song was written by the ministry itself: Youth America. Every time they would sing the lyrics to this song, I would just cry out with pure passion in what I was saying... "I find life in knowing You and freedom from ALL fear!" It hit me so hard. I really feel like there are some people reading this that just feel stuck. I gotta tell you, I understand this. It's not even just a feeling. It's real.. and it's not suppose to be that way. The Bible tells us that we are called to freedom. This, my brothers and sisters, is so true.It's not just a philosophy that we are to believe in. There is proof behind this.

Are you one of those people that need proof in order to believe something? Like, you have got to experience it yourself for you to know it is what they say it is? Well, that is me. I believed Jesus was real, but i was stuck... hurt... empty... lacking. I needed that proof for myself that Jesus was who He said He was.

A couple years back, the summer of 2011, I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. This was that missing puzzle piece that I had been lacking. I had always tried to fill in that void with things that promised fulfilling. But I hadn't truly felt whole until I received the baptism of Jesus's spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:4) 

This is the Love that I always wanted. True Love.

In Acts 2:39, Apostle Peter says that this gift is for everyone who is placed on this earth. This is for everyone who Jesus calls to be here.(that's all of us) This is a PROMISE and it is for you and generations to come.

In Acts 2:37-38, someone asked "What do we do?" Peter told them exactly what to do....Repent, be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.


Romans 8:9 says that anyone that does not have the spirit of God inside them isn't His.

John 3:5 says we must be born of the water and the Spirit to enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

This is truly what set me free. You are called to freedom. 

"Ask and you will receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you." ~Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:7)

Thank You Jesus for this FREEDOM! Heal us today! Make us FREE! I plead the blood of JESUS CHRIST over everyone reading in JESUS NAME! I ask that You would fill them with the Holy Ghost as they seek You, Jesus! SET US FREE! In Jesus name, Amen.

Worth It In The End

Things may be hard now, but don't give up. Jesus is faithful! THERE IS A LIGHT UP AHEAD! HALLELUJAH!

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Things may be dark, but we must RISE. Someone has to RISE UP. Let us RISE and prepare for the sunshine that is coming.

Faithful God

Our God does NOT lie!

I was talking with Jesus earlier. I was asking Him why things don't look to be going right. He showed me Exodus 13:5. He swore to me that promise and He is telling me to hold Him to it. Jesus Christ is not a man that He should lie. He is faithful.

Are you in a place of discouragement? Are things looking like they aren't doing what Jesus said they would do?

Jesus is NOT a man that He should lie. Hold Him to it!

"It may be dark now but the sun will shine again!" I heard this said by a evangelist at a revival one time.

Jesus, please touch us. Thank you for helping us. We need You more than ever now. Touch us and show us Your will! I plead the blood of JESUS CHRIST OVER US IN JESUS NAME! DISCOURAGEMENT LEAVE IN JESUS NAME! Amen.

God's Got This

"Be still, and know that I Am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10 KJV)

DON'T WORRY! That's right, I'm talkin' to you! Actually, I'm talking to myself as well.
One thing that I have battled my whole life was worrying. It seems so hard not to let our minds wander into the dark night of fear. But, it's a good thing that we have control over what we think. If that were not true, then God wouldn't tell us what to think about...

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."  (Philippians 4:8 KJV)


This command is a way to peace. If you want peace in your life, learn to direct the way you think...

"Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." (Philippians 4:9 KJV)

No matter what is going on in life, with all the busyness and mess, look to Jesus. Be still and know that He is God. I'm talking to myself, too. Jesus is the One True God and He holds it all. 

There is actually something I ask myself quite often that just smacks me right in the face everytime:

"Why am I worrying?! I mean come on, Kristin!!! The God of all the universe is holding you! He created you! He has this! GOD's GOT THIS!!!!"

We have peace if we take hold of the reins of our mind! The mind can be wild, but we have the power and authority to move it in the direction that we want it to go! We are called into FREEDOM! There is no reason why we should worry. Worrying doesn't do anything good for us. Worry makes matters worse. So before you go worrying about that too, take a deep breath and say "Thank You, Jesus." He has this. Let us BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD. 

Jesus, thank You so much for this much needed wisdom. There is so much we can learn and gain from Your Word. Teach us to go Your way, show us how to get there, and between now and then let us gird up the loins of our mind and step out in victory in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Jesus, You have called us into FREEDOM! I rebuke the devil away from us in Jesus name! Show us how to LOVE LIKE YOU LOVE US! Free us from fear and doubt in the name of Jesus Christ! The Story of Esther: The Power Behind Fasting And Praying

Esther was in a seemingly impossible situation. There she was, the wife and queen of King Ahasuerus. She had it all; money, fine jewels, the best of the best foods, and honor from all people. But she kept her confidence in God, first and foremost.

There was a decree made by the king, from the influence of a man named Haman, to have all the Jews in the kingdom be killed on a specific day. Now, Esther being a Jew, had heard from her maids the horrible news. She was greatly distressed to hear such things. She was going to ask the king to stop this matter, but she knew that if she was to enter Ito the king's presence without him calling her, she would die too.

DON'T GIVE UP NOW! TAKE ACTION IN FAITH! FAST AND PRAY! YOU WILL RECEIVE FAVOR FROM JESUS!

For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” So Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Esther commanded him.

Esther fasted and prayed and had others fast and pray with her as well.

What happened next?

After three days of fasting, Esther put on her royal robes and got all fancied up to see the king. The king let her come and had such favor for her. God listened to the Esther and the Jews and softened the king's heart.

And the king said to her, “What do you wish, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given to you—up to half the kingdom!”
(Esther 5:3 NKJV)

You see, Esther and the Jews were is a pretty nervous situation. They thought it to be the end of them. But Esther ROSE UP and told her people to fast and pray with her. Though things looked dangerous, she TRUSTED IN JESUS and looked to Him for help! Jesus is NOT a liar. This works. Jesus inhabits the praises of His people. He is attracted to it! So when we praise Jesus with our bodies in this way by fading and prayer, He does the "impossible."


Esther and the Jews ASKED, BELIEVED, AND RECEIVED!


NO LIMITS ON GOD's LOVE!

JESUS, thank You for this. Thank You for this message and these people. Jesus I come to You saying I can't do this alone. And on behalf of these people reading, they cannot do this alone either. Jesus touch us. Fix the seemingly impossible situations. Jesus, as we fast and pray, soften our hearts and the people around us in JESUS NAME! I REBUKE THE ENEMY THAT HAS BEEN ATTACKING US AND OUR LOVED ONES AND THE PEOPLE AROUND IS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! I SAY THST YOU WILL HELP US! JESUS YOU HOLD US TOGETHER AND YOU DO NOW LIE! Starvation

Fill us, Jesus.

There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god. I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me. So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels. Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways! I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries. The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever. He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.

It hurts to constantly try and fill ourselves with things that promise a filling and satisfaction but don't go through with that promise. It's like we are starving inside for something good. But nothing satisfies. So we keep gorging ourselves with useless remedies that don't do anything but make us even more empty.
What we really need is such a real encounter and infilling of Jesus Christ. He is the lifter of our souls and the filling of our bellies and souls.

Take a second and look deep to see if you have ever tried to make yourself full. Anything.
Now look and see if the filling of that fake promise fulfilled anything. I can look and see that I have been starving for Jesus Christ and tried to fill myself with useless things to fill a void. They never filled anything. They just made me feel more empty, depressed, hurt, and alone.

Now I look, seeing when I filled myself with Jesus and fed on Him. He filled me. Literally. That's what we crave. LOVE. Everyone of us want it. Love. Love. Love.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

No. Not lust. Love.

JESUS, fill us. We are tired of feeling empty. We want YOU, Lord. You are so mindful of us. Help us rise from the dust. We want you JESUS! WE ARE CRAVING YOU! WE DONT WANT TO TRY AND FILL OURSELVES WITH USELESS IDOLS ANYMORE! FORGIVE US, JESUS! WE LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU!!!! Make us WHOLE again. Revive us with POWER. And show us Your grace. Fix this starvation and give us the fullness of Your LOVE AND JOY! On behalf of my brothers and sisters, I command the devil to leave us in the name of JESUS CHRIST!!! Let Us Be Renewed

Jesus loves us so much. Let this set of scripture sink in. Let Jesus fill up all the empty places and FEED you in LOVE. We need Him more than food. We NEED HIM.

JESUS, I love You. You make us whole. Again and again You lift us up. Thank You Jesus. I love You, I love You, I love You!!! FIX OUR EYES ON YOU AND LIFT US UP LIKE BABIES IN YOUR ARMS. Go, again, and Love...

Then the Lord said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the Lord for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans. ”
(Hosea 3:1 NKJV)

JESUS LOVES US LIKE THIS

Let's put this scripture into context. Hosea, a prophet of God for Israel, married a woman who was a prostitute. God told him to marry her.
Hosea fell so in love with his wife. But, she looked for the money from Hosea. She wanted what she could get from him. She also committed adultery with another man against Hosea. He knew these things, but kept loving her, taking care of her, and treating her like a princess should be treated.
Hosea's wife left him to be with a rich man. Hosea was discouraged and prayed to God. Hosea wondered and cried and prayed asking God what to do. God told him exactly what to do. He told Hosea to love his wife even though she committed adultery against him and The Lord. Why? God was showing Hosea how He loves... How to love.

"Go...again...and LOVE a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery...."

The book of Isaiah is a picture of Jesus's love for the church(no, not the building or the religious folk... But the dedicated congregation,TOGETHER UNITED IN JESUS CHRIST).

We are so sinful. We turn away from Jesus all the time. ALL of us do. And no matter what we have done He never turns away. In fact He come to us again and again, showing us He loves us and wants us. He loves us just the way we are but won't leave us in the pain of sin if

we let Him take it away.

JESUS will never stop loving us. He wants us even though we cheat on Him with idols. Even though we use Him, spit on Him, crucify Him... He loves us all the same. PERFECT SELFLESS LOVE.

As Christians, we tend to look down too much. Looking at negative things. With our shoulders slumped over in grief. We plead to Jesus for mercy, forgiveness, and a healing touch and wonder why we don't have them yet. Jesus is telling us to "Look up!" He wants us to keep our eyes off the storms we are in and "Look up!" at JESUS! He is almighty and high above it all. He is a MERCIFUL GOD and wants our eyes to be up so that we see the brightness of the SUN/SON! Jesus Christ is the Living God. He put Himself into flesh to die for our sins. He doesn't want us to be slumped over in pain or doubt. Let us RISE on WINGS LIKE EAGLES AND FLY. We are called to fly! 

YOU MUST LOOK UP IN ORDER TO FLY!

We are not under subjection to the devil, who wants us looking at our shadow and seeing the darkness. Jesus wants to fulfill what He has called us to do! WE ARE WORLD CHANGERS AND NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH JESUS CHRIST THE KING!

Now let us RISE UP and follow Jesus as we lift our heads. You can do this. You are FORGIVEN! DELIVERED BY THE HAND OF JESUS, if you look up and call out. He is a faithful God that CANNOT LIE! PRAISE JESUS! HALLELUJAH! OUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN!
