Called To Love

What is love? 

Nothing is love. There is someone who is Love. Jesus is Love. He doesn't have Love. He IS LOVE. 

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (1 John 4:7, 8 KJV)

Love is NOT just a four letter word used to tell someone how you feel. Love is sacrifice. Born to die. And we are called to love like Love loves us. 

Replace the world love with Jesus:

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

 He is Love. He is Jesus.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. (John 13:34, 35 KJV)

So we are called to Love. 

And we have exactly what that means right before our eyes. Let us Love like Jesus Loves.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, Love, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.

Dear Jesus, this seems so hard sometime... To Love like You Love. We aren't called to do it perfect. We can't be perfect. That's You. We are called to be real and Love LIKE You. Before we can Love others like You Love, we must learn to Love You like You Love us. Help us. We want to Love You more. Forgive us, JESUS. Create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit in us. Fill us with Joy in Your presence and show us how to Love. I plead the blood of JESUS CHRIST over every reader and the situations they are in right now. I command the devil to flee from us in JESUS NAME! We are not broken. We are free. I love You Jesus <3 We Love You. In Jesus name, Amen.
