What Consumes You

The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?” Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 

(Matthew 19:20, 21 NKJV)

The man in this story asked Jesus what he must do to be whole... To gain more. Jesus knew what was between Him and the man. For that man, it was money that held him back. And Jesus told him that. But the man walked away. He was not willing to let go of the one thing that consumed him.

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

If we let go of that which is between us and Jesus.. He will give us everything we need. No need to worry. Jesus provides. Jehovah Jireh. 

Jesus, move us. Change us. I'm tired of holding on to the weights. Even if my flesh wants them... They pull me away from You. Lord, help us. Open our eyes. Give us the strength to do whatever it takes to follow after You. Even if that means leaving the thing we "love" most. Make us whole. Show us. Lord, You give us all good things. But when we let something take place of You... Things get dangerous for us. Idols lie and consume us. You fill and protect us. Jesus, You are truth. Fill us with truth. In Jesus name. I rebuke the devil over every reader in JESUS NAME. I rebuke guilt, shame, fear, lust, pride, demons, cloudy vision, gluttony, weapons formed against us, and anger and selfishness in JESUS NAME! You And Your Worth

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Jesus, forgive me or falling into the death trap of sin time and time again. I realize , now, that we all do. It's in our blood to sin. Jesus, sin has out a way between all of us. Tear down these walls, JESUS. We need You more than ever every single day of our lives. Fill us with JOY in Your presence!!!! I rebuke the devil away from us in Jesus name! What we did doesn't define who we are! YOU DEFINE WHO WE ARE, JESUS! WE ARE MORE! WE ARE YOURS! WE ARE WORTH DYING FOR! I plead the blood of JESUS CHRIST OVER EVERY READER IN JESUS NAME! We Are One

Run

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. What are you holding on to that weighs you down?

Lately, I've realized that there are things I've been holding on to that really need to be dropped. We are running a marathon here. We can't expect to finish the run if we have all these weights on us. We will get too tired too quickly and want to give up. It's time to give it all to Jesus. All of it... For Him. He endures life and death through suffering by the very hands He made... FOR US! Things will feel so much better when we let go of all the weights and RUN! 

Jesus, wake us up. Take us out of prison! LET'S DO THIS THING! Jesus, we want to RUN! Hallelujah! YOU ARE OUR FREEDOM! Jesus, shake us where we need to be shaken and free us from hurt and fear, lust, anger... Any weight. Forgive us Jesus for mistaking You. You are NOT a man that You should lie! YOU ARE ALMIGHTY GOD AND SAVIOR, JESUS! Hallelujah! I plead the blood of JESUS over ever reader in JESUS NAME and Lord, I ask that You would show them what we need to let go of for You. Show us Your mercy and grace. Thank You for many many second chances... Given for free. Hold us accountable, Lord. We need Your help in this! I send angels to protect and minister to every reader and their life and family in JESUS NAME! JESUS YOU MEND BROKEN HEARTS! Lord,  for the woman who lost her husband... Touch her right now, Jesus. Today: The Healing In The Classroom

Today was an amazing day. Jesus has showed up in my life in so many ways. It amazes me. One of my favorite teachers has had really bad pain in their right elbow. They went to the doctor and the doctor said it was tendonitous. I guess that means there is nothing they can do to heal it. (I know people who have tendonitous and they have had it for years.) 

Well, today... My friends, Ashley, and I asked this teacher if we could pray over the bad elbow. He said yes. It amazed me. I could literally see the faith in his eyes. 

As Ashley and I layed hands on his arm, I felt heat rush through me... I started speaking in such a way, as I prayed, that what I said even ministered to me. Jesus moved in the classroom today.

I saw him again later and he told me "It doesn't hurt near as bad as it did before!"  HALLELUJAH!  Jesus, please touch him. You know what is needed. I rebuke the devil away from his life and family in JESUS NAME! I rebuke the devil away from his body in JESUS NAME! Hallelujah! HE IS HEALED IN THE NAME OF JESUS!! In JESUS NAME, amen. 

Jesus doesn't have any limits. He moves everywhere. We just have to let Him. He wants to move trough US. 

At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. A Word For The Jesus Freaks

For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

The Devils Flee At The Name Of JESUS CHRIST

I rebuke the devil in the name of Jesus Christ. Boom. There you go. The devils flee. 
Look, the devil can't do much.. unless you let him. He has no power over you. He is afraid of Jesus Christ. The Bible says that the demons tremble at the name of JESUS. We have nothing to fear. The power of Jesus Christ is for us and we have the power to speak His name.

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12 KJV)

"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." (James 4:7-8 KJV)

"You believe that there is ONE GOD. You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble." (James 2:19 NKJV)

"He who does not know God, for GOD IS LOVE." (1 John 4:8 NKJV)

"There is no fear in Love; but Perfect Love casteth out all fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in Love." (1 John 4:18 KJV)

Jesus, thank You for everything. You give us power through Your name to cast down the enemy. I rebuke the devil away from us in the name of Jesus Christ! I rebuke the devil away from this blog and the people reading it in the name of JESUS CHRIST! We are called to freedom! I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over every reader in the name of JESUS! Jesus, take this year, 2014, use it for Your glory! Help us find what we need in YOU JESUS! HALLELUJAH! I send you strongest angels to touch, protect, and minister to everyone reading and myself in the name of JESUS CHRIST! I rebuke fear in JESUS NAME! Thank You JESUS! YOU ARE LOVE! In JESUS name! Guilt Stinks. It's Time to Take Out The Trash!

You don't have to live in guilt. Everyday, being taunted with what you have done or what you've been through. And then you're thinking... "If you only knew, Kristin. I sin all the time. I'm messed up." Well you're right. You are messy.. and so am I.

Who said that we had to be perfect? I hope that I am not the first one to tell you that that isn't going to happen... you being perfect. Honestly, I mess up everyday. Yes, everyday. And I've had my fair share of messes. But, you see, Jesus knew about all that before He created us. Jeremiah 1:5 says, " Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations." In this scripture, Jesus was telling Jeremiah that He knew everything about him before He even made him. And that goes with us too. And that involves all of the sins we would do against Him and all the things we would go through. That didn't stop Jesus. He gives us the choice and still makes us. He wanted to make you.. and still wants you here.

Look, you're not what you've done. Don't expect yourself to be perfect.. because that will never happen. The most righteous person is still a messy human being that sins a lot. That's why WE NEED JESUS! He didn't put Himself in flesh upon the earth to die just to tell us that we are suppose to be good little kids! JESUS DIED BECAUSE HE WANTS TO FREE US FROM SIN, GUILT, AND DEATH! You can be FREE. In fact He wants you. Jesus wants you. Just the way you are, with all the sin and everything. He loves you the way you are but He doesn't want to leave you that way. Not one person is without sin... that's why we all need Jesus.

Say this out loud:

Hallelujah! I AM FREE IN JESUS NAME! DEVIL LEAVE ME AND MY LIFE AND FAMILY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH!

Now take a deep breath. You are called to freedom. 

Love Forgives

"You have heard that it has been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
But I say unto you, That you resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
And if any man will she you at the law, and take away your coat, let him have your close also.
And whatsoever shall compel you to go a mile, go with him twain.
Give to him that asks you, and from him that would borrow of you turn not away.
You have heard that it has been said, You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to then that hate you, and pray for them which despite fully use you, and persecute you;
That you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends the rain on the just and the unjust.
For if you love them which love you, what reward do you have? Anyone can do that. Even the tax collectors.
Be perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."

This whole message that Jesus spoke here... Is a powerful roar of a mighty lion... A King. This is what Jesus wants. He wants us to be transformed from religious and self-centered to free and loving the way Jesus does.

Jesus wasn't literally telling us to be perfect. If that's what you thought, you were misunderstood. You see, no one can be perfect. Only Jesus is... Because He is God in flesh. The ONLY perfect flesh which made the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.
No one is perfect. Jesus is calling us to be like Him and love perfectly.

Love Perfectly? Loving perfectly means to love like Jesus loves us. The kind of Love that has NO LIMITS. Jesus isn't limited by our sin. No matter what it is that we have done against Him, He still loves us selflessly. Nothing and no one can stop that.

So no matter what anyone does against you, love them. It's easy to do that when we seek Jesus and realize how much we have all been died for... we ALL have done wrong... we all have hurt Jesus.. We ALL slaughtered our King. Some people may not want to hear that, but it is true. Apostle Paul wrote: "As it is written, There is none that are righteous, no, not one:" (Romans 3:10) So we are ALL in need of His Love, His mercy, and His grace.

We ALL have some things in common: we ALL have done wrong and WE ALL NEED JESUS.

JESUS, thank You... For Your mercy, Your grace, Your Love... And Your forgiveness, Jesus. You are calling us to LOVE perfectly like this. We have all like sheep gone astray... Show us how to Love like You Love JESUS. I plead the blood of JESUS CHRIST over every reader and myself in the name of JESUS CHRIST! Open our eyes, God, to what You want us to be wide awake to. JESUS, I know that it is Your strong desire to heal broken relationships or any lives lacking YOUR LOVE, MERCH, AND GRACE! Jesus, feed us Your Love and Word to strengthen us back to health, in Your blood sacrifice. I REALIZE YOUR BLOOD IS WHAT HEALS US! I REBUKE THE ENEMIES THAT ARE SET TO DESTROY US, OUR LIVES AND DESTINIES, AND FAMILY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! I send angels to protect and minister to us all in Jesus name! AMEN!

Finding Joy In Hard Times

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

This set of scripture has been popping up a lot lately... for me at least. I can see now that this pressure is pushing me into my destiny.. my calling.

1 Peter 4:12-19 in my own words:

Don't think it's strange that you're going through this hard trial. Instead, let's find JOY in it. We are partakers in Christ's suffering that He did for US. When His glory shall be revealed and things fall into place, you may be GLAD WITH EXCEEDING JOY!

If you are abused, mistreated, or reproached for the name of Jesus Christ, BE HAPPY and find JOY in this; for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon YOU: THEY may speak evil of Jesus, but YOU GLORIFY JESUS! We are ALL going to suffer in life. But let no one suffer as a murderer, or as a theif, or as an evil doer, or as a busybody in other man's matters. Yet if ANYONE suffers because they are a TRUE CHRISTIAN, let them not be ashamed; but let them GLORIFY GOD on this behalf.

The time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God. We are first in line! If it begins with us FIRST, what will be the end of those who don't obey the gospel of God? If the righteous ones are BARELY SAVED, where do the ungodly people come in?

So if you find life difficult because you're doing what God said and you're loving Him, TAKE IT IN STRIDE. TRUST HIM! He knows what He's doing, and He'll keep doing it!          NO WORRIES!!! Because there are NO LIMIT'S ON GOD'S LOVE!

Jesus, seriously, thank You for everything You Have been teaching us.. showing us. You know we need it all so much. Better yet, we NEED YOU, JESUS. Forgive us for putting You on the backburner... only acknowledging You when we need Your help. You always help us when we really call out to You... But You want more. You want our LOVE. You don't need us but You want us. You're not mad at us.. YOU'RE MAD ABOUT US! Forgive us Jesus. I love You, Jesus! I plead the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth over every reader and their situations in JESUS NAME! Show us your mercy and grace and power. Thank You for dancing with us in the fire. Thank you Jesus. You love us so much. We are suffering with You... until that mighty day comes when You take Your chosen, the ones who chose You, up. But use us NOW, Lord. Take the blindfold off our eyes so we can see Your Love and Grace for us, JESUS. I send Your mighty and strong angels to minister and protect every reader in Jesus name. I pray that You would renew them with Your exceeding and great joy. Fill Us With JOY in Your presence! In JESUS NAME I PRAY, AMEN!

For Us That Are Hurting

I think we all feel pain right now. We are all groaning in the flesh. These times are hard. We are suffering in pain that no one can see. Fighting for our lives... Spiritually and physically. When will there be a cure? Jesus is the healer... So where is our cute? We keep falling when He has promised us wings. We keep lying when He said He's the Truth. When will we see the effect of His mercy? When will we fly on wings like eagles? When will we RISE?

It's time.

Time to take off the blindfolds.. It's not HIM... It's us. We have been falling for much too long. It's time to RISE.

How to RISE?

•Let go of the past.

Seriously let it go. Strive forward. You want healing but you keep clawing yourself. You want hope but every time you see a glimpse of it... You turn around to see the dark. Let God. Let God. You're free. Let go of the chains. You're free. Let go. Let God. You're free. Free. Free.

•Forgive yourself.

You're beautiful. You're handsome. You were made for so much more. We are messy. Too messy. That's why we need Him. None of us are perfect. Some of us are just good hiders. But trust me, no one can hide forever. We were made to fly... Not cower in the dark so no one can see. Rise, embrace these tattered wings.

•Look up.

Where you put your eyes and your mind, this is where you go. So if you want to fly high above the windy waves of life... Lift your head and take your eyes off the mess. Jesus will hold you... But you have for to LET HIM and LOOK TO HIM for help. Look up.

•Listen to the good things.

Keep your mind under control. After all, what you think about is what you have complete control of more than anything. Focus. Focus. Focus.

•Surround yourself with the Light.

How? How in the world can I do that when it's dark everywhere? Create your own light. Better yet, let JESUS light up your world. FOCUS ON HIM. Talk to Him all day, everyday... About anything and everything. He is listening, and if you focus, listen, and call out.. You will hear Him too. It's not hard. Don't let the devil tell you that. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Submit to Jesus Christ. ❤️

•Lift off

Raise your hands. Give it all to Jesus. Stop relying on your own strength to fly. You simply can't do it alone. None of us can. Not one. WE ALL NEED JESUS!

READ ROMANS 8.. Hope and Light. It's all because of JESUS.. We have HOPE THAT DOESNT DISSAPOINT.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Jesus, thank You. It takes a load off our shoulders...Your burden is LIGHT... We don't have to be perfect... We can't be. Thank You for being God. Thank You for dying for us and being perfect. Taking the guilt for all our shame and sin. I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST OVER ALL OF US IN JESUS NAME! I PRAY THAT YOU WOULD SUPERNATURALLY OPEN OUR EYES. Awaken us that sleep and make us strong to fly and run. WE LOVE YOU JESUS! SHOW US YOUR MERCY AND GRACE AND STRENGTH! BE STRONG FOR US BECAUSE WE ARE WEAK! Pride Comes Before A Fall: We All Need Jesus Because We Are All Messed Up

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18 KJV)

I learned something today. I have been prideful. I don't have it all together. I never will. So it's time that I show myself... The messed-up sixteen-year old that I am. I need Jesus. That's who I am. A messes up girl who needs Jesus.

I have been reading Jefferson Bethke's book Jesus>Religion. His wise words showed me that we are all messy. We've got to stop acting like we've got it all together. That's fake.

Jesus has called us to be REAL. Not perfect. Only He is perfect... Without spot or blemish. That's why we need Him.

Jesus, forgive me. I've messed up and I need YOU. You are who I need. I'm messed up, I need you. Forgive me of my sin and show me how to love like You love me. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over every reader in Jesus name and I send angels to protect us in Jesus name. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Almighty God

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6 KJV)

Jesus is the Almighty God. Period.

Hear Him

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

I and my Father are one.

Jesus, help us hear You more. I remember times where I was afraid to hear You, and other times where I was afraid I couldn't hear You. But I do know one thing... that You are not a liar, you do not give us fear, you do not torment us. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over every reader in Jesus name. Lord, I ask that You would bless them according to each and every specific need. You are the author and the finisher of our faith. Jesus, show us how to be like You. You gave all You have to know us.. to show us Your true Love for us.. Jesus show us how to love like that. Give us what we need to win these battles. You have overcome the world. Ask

Yes. Ask. Ask Jesus. Ask Him for it.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Jesus, please show us how to Love. That's what we need. Jesus I ask that you would touch every reader in Jesus name. Heal them and make them free of anything and everything in Jesus name. I plead the blood of JESUS CHRIST over us all in JESUS NAME! Lord, sometimes the devil will slowly put a blindfold over our eyes and we wonder why it's so dark. Free us from sin, shame, hurt, fear, lust, gluttony, pain, religiousness, foolishness, and anything that might take Your place in our hearts. Make us whole again, make us whole again. Jesus Settles The Storms

O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee? Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

There's a battle. A storm. A raging sea. This one seems like it'll never end.

Jesus, thank You. Thank you for settling the raging sea in our lives right now. I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST OVER EVER READER IN JESUS NAME! Break away every distraction in our lives that keeps us from getting closer to You. JESUS, WE NEED YOU! SAVIOR! Your authority is over everything! You are awesome in power, forever. I send angels to touch us all in Jesus name. Help us. We want to be even more in Love with You. in JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Forgiven And Worth It All

You've been bought with the ultimate price. The price that no one can pay for you except for the One who created you. You're worth it all, too. Every last drop of blood. Every.. Last... Drop.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Jesus, show us this in all it's deep mess. We are forgiven. We don't have to be guilty. You took all that upon Yourself. Every last drop of blood that you have was for us. We have a purpose.
